Trump Campaign Raises Over $7M Since Indictment

The 2024 presidential campaign of Donald Trump has accumulated in excess of $7 million since his legal charges were announced on Tuesday.

“Following the extraordinary measure taken by an unhinged Jack Smith, who manipulated the justice system to target his political rival, the 2024 Donald J. Trump for President campaign has gathered more than $6.6 million within just a couple of days,” the campaign team announced in a statement on Wednesday.

Later the same day, a representative for Trump, currently leading the pack for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, released an update indicating the total funds raised had surpassed $7 million.

“Evidence of unwavering support for President Donald J. Trump from grassroots patriots nationwide is clear, with over $4.5 million generated through digital fundraising, supplemented by an additional $2.1 million collected at President Trump’s gathering at Bedminster [New Jersey] last evening.”

On Tuesday, Trump entered a plea of not guilty in a Miami courtroom to numerous felony charges. These accuse him of stockpiling classified documents and ignoring governmental orders to surrender them.

The unprecedented court hearing revolves around accusations that Trump mismanaged government secrets entrusted to him in his capacity as commander in chief. This sets in motion a legal saga that will progress during the peak of the 2024 presidential campaign, with implications that could significantly impact his political aspirations and personal freedom.

Trump’s campaign emphasized that the American public “won’t tolerate this dishonest attempt to manipulate the 2024 election against the front-running presidential candidate, who is set to dismantle the Deep State and complete the task of draining the Swamp.

“Universal polls conducted both nationally and statewide reveal President Trump’s insuperable lead, confirming he is the only candidate capable of defeating Joe Biden in a general election.”
